Construction Wins An American Business Stevie
Award for Best Sales Kit

June 10, 2005 - - McGraw-Hill Construction has won
a coveted Stevie award for its 2005 Building Products Manufacturers
(BPM) sales kit. The award - the 3rd Annual American Business
Awards - is the first national, all-encompassing business
awards program honoring great performances in the workplace
in the U.S.A..
The Stevie Awards honor and generate
public recognition of the efforts, accomplishments, and positive
contributions of companies and business people worldwide,
with a mission to raise the profile of exemplary companies
and individuals among the press, the business community, and
the general public. More than 1,200 nominations were submitted
for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best
Overall Company, Best Executive, Best Corporate Social Responsibility
Program, and Best Human Resources Organization.
Known as "the business world's
own Oscars" (New York Post, September 22, 2002),
2005 Stevie Award winners were feted at a gala awards dinner
at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel on Monday, June 6,
where Donald J. Trump received the first Lifetime Achievement
Stevie Award.
The American Business Awards are governed by a Board of Distinguished
Judges & Advisors that features many of the leading figures
in American business.
