Gen. McCaffrey was previously Director of the
White House Office of National Drug Control Policy.
Prior to that, he served as the Commander-in-Chief
of the U.S. Armed Forces Southern Command, commanding
the 24th Infantry Division of the U.S. Army during
Desert Storm.
