Construction includes 1,300 linear feet of 30-foot inside diameter concrete lined tunnel, a tunnel portal structure, a diffuser apron, a concrete lined gate shaft with excavated diameter of 63 feet and depth of 341 feet, a control building, steel lined tunnel bifurcations, four wheel gates, a maintenance bulkhead, two Jet Flow dewatering gates, a live connection to the existing tunnel, and ancillary work. The estimated cost of the work is $202,000,000.00. The mandatory pre-bid site walk-through will commence on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 9:00 a.m. Central time. The mandatory pre-bid conference will commence on Tuesday June 23, 2009 at 1:30 p.m. Central time.
