REQUESTING LETTERS OF INTEREST

The Public Buildings Service of the United States General Services Administration (“GSA”), Northeast & Caribbean Region, New York, NY, announces an opportunity for providing Bridging Design Build Services for modernization of the 7 story Degetau Federal Office Building and Ruiz Nazario Courthouse.  The address of the project is 150 Carlos E. Chardon Street Hato Rey, Puerto Rico 00918.

This project will be procured under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and consists of both design and construction services.  The construction services will consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, and supervision necessary to for the Bridging Design Build  (BDB) Services for the High Performance Green Building Modernization and Other Alteration Work with an estimated construction range of $60 - $80 million.  The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to:  Re-design and replacement of the HVAC system, with the MPDCV system, upgrade of electrical panels and distribution system, implementation of energy conservation program, intelligent lighting system, advanced metering, installation of photovoltaic panels, improve interior finishes, renovation of restrooms, compliance to ADA requirements, upgrade of fire protection and life safety system, and partial site improvements.
