January 25, 2011:
McGraw-Hill Construction’s Architectural Record and GreenSource magazines have received five FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie Awards for Best Redesign, Best Cover, and Best Construction/Commercial Design/Manufacturing Website among business-to-business (B-to-B) publications for 2010.  Architectural Record won a gold Ozzie Award for “Best Cover, B-to-B above 100,000 Circulation” for its December 2009 “Vanguard” cover, a bronze Ozzie in the same category for its January 2010 “City of the Future” cover, and a silver/bronze Eddie for its website in the “Business to Business, Construction/Commercial Design/Manufacturing, Website” category.
GreenSource won a gold Eddie in the “Business to Business, Construction/Commercial Design/Manufacturing, Website” category, and a gold Ozzie in the “Best Redesign, B‐to‐B” category for its January 2010 issue.

May 2011: 
ENR in BtoB Mags Media Power 50
GreenSource: Silver Medal from the Society of Publication Designers + a merit award in the design category

May 26, 2011:
McGraw-Hill Construction’s Engineering News-Record (ENR) website, ENR.com, is featured in BtoB Magazine’s annual “Media Power 50” Special Report, a list of the 50 best advertising vehicles for b-to-b marketers, in the “Vertical Business” category. The report includes top winners in eight categories: Business News, General News, Online, Out of Home, Social Media, Technology Brands, TV and Radio, and Vertical Business.

May 31, 2011:
McGraw-Hill Construction’s GreenSource magazine has received a silver medal in the 46th Annual Society of Publication Designers (SPD) Awards Competition in the illustration category for its “Digging for Dollars” piece from the September/October 2010 issue. GreenSource also received a merit award in the design category for “Some Like It Radiant,” featured in the July/August 2010 issue.

August 9, 2011:
Engineering News-Record and SNAP have won seven 2011 National Azbee Awards of Excellence and an honorable mention from the American Society of Business Publication Editors (ASBPE). ENR’s six ASBPE awards include:

November 3, 2011:
McGraw-Hill Construction’s Architectural Record and GreenSource magazines have received eight FOLIO: Eddie and Ozzie Awards for best issue, best article, best website, best cover, best feature design and best use of illustration among business-to-business (B-to-B) publications.

Architectural Record won three Ozzie awards for “Best Cover Design, B-to-B under 100,000 Circulation,” including a gold award for its May 2011 “Jacob + McFarlane in Lyon” cover, and silver and bronze awards for the August 2010 “Sand Castles” cover and the “South Africa’s Super Bowls” cover in July 2010. A silver Ozzie Award for “Best Feature Design, B-to-B under 100,000 Circulation” went to “Ahmed Baba Institute Library” in the March 2011 issue; and two silver Eddie Awards, one for its full issue in April 2011 in the “B-to-B, Construction/Commercial Design/Manufacturing” category, and another for its B-to-B website, ArchitecturalRecord.com, rounded out its awards.

GreenSource received a silver Eddie Award for its September 2010 article, ‘Targeting Net-Zero,” in the B-to-B Construction/Commercial Design/Manufacturing, Single Issue” category. Its “Darkening Prospects” article received a bronze Ozzie award for “Best Use of Illustration, B-to-B under 100,000 Circulation.”

March 2010:
MHC Wins Seven Neal Awards - Architectural Record, Engineering News-Record (ENR), and GreenSource received seven Jesse H. Neal Business Journalism Awards from American Business Media. Architectural Record received three Neal Awards for “Best Integrated Package” for “The Recession Report” coverage, “Best Use of Video” for “Record TV,” and “Best Use of Social Media” for its “Photo Showcases & Reader Feedback.” ENR received three Neal Awards for “Best Profile” for its “Award of Excellence: Bernard Amadei” article, “Best News Coverage” for its “Economic Stimulus” coverage, and “Best Technical Content” for its “Saving the Deltas” article. GreenSource received a Neal Award for “Best Single Issue” for its March/April 2009 issue.

March 2010:
Jan Tuchman Receives SAME Journalism Award - The Board of Directors of the Northern Virginia Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) is excited to announce the selection of the winner of its 5th Annual Award for Journalism in Recognition of Architecture or Engineering Achievement: Janice L. Tuchman, Editor-in-Chief of Engineering News Record (ENR).

April 2010: Robert Ivy, Editor-in-Chief of Architectural Record, Receives “Master Architect” Distinction

August 2010: ArchitecturalRecord.com Wins Two Gold Tabbie Awards - Trade, Association and Business Publications International (TABPI) awarded AR.com for “Best B2B Website” and “Best Online Feature.” The highest online honors in the B2B publishing space, these awards seek to identify the best editorial and design work found in English-language B2B publications worldwide.
