United States Census Bureau Chooses McGraw-Hill Construction as Sole Provider of Dodge Construction Analysis in Multi-Million Dollar Deal
Renewal Marks a Quarter Century That McGraw-Hill Construction Has Provided Construction Data Analysis Support to the Census Bureau

As sole provider of construction starts and project data analysis support to the United States Census Bureau, McGraw-Hill Construction, part of The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP), today announced that the Census Bureau has renewed its analytics contract with the company in a multi-million dollar deal for a period of five years. The renewal signals a quarter century that McGraw-Hill Construction has been the sole provider to the Census Bureau for construction starts and project data analysis support.
The project data that McGraw-Hill Construction provides to the Census Bureau is derived from the company’s proprietary Dodge database, and supports the federal government’s monthly estimate of construction spending, a key input to GDP. The company’s analytics—qualified and continuously updated—enable construction professionals to strategically plan, evaluate performance, assess risk, size current and future market opportunity, and manage their markets.
