McGraw-Hill Construction and Construction Times, a Chinese national industry newspaper, plan to co-host the 4th Annual ENR/Construction Times Top 60 Chinese Contractors and Top 60 Chinese Design Firm Awards Ceremony in Guangzhou, China, December 6th, 2007. This year’s event will be co-located with CONEXPO Asia Construction Machinery Exposition 2007, which will be held by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products (CCCME) December 4-7, 2007 at the Pazhou Complex of CIEF in Guangzhou.

The 4th Annual ENR Top Chinese Firms Awards Ceremony at Guangzhou Dongfang Hotel
For more than 130 years, Engineering News-Record (ENR) has been reporting news and intelligence on the global construction market. In China, ENR is a powerful, established brand. Since the mid 1990s, China’s Ministry of Construction, Ministry of Commerce, and its top construction and engineering firms have been looking upon ENR’s annual international rankings as the most important benchmark to measure their global success. In 2004, ENR launched an ENR Top Chinese Firm Ranking in collaboration with the Shanghai-based national newspaper Construction Times, using the same methodology to measure the Chinese contractors and design firms’ accomplishment, both home and abroad. The new ranking was quickly embraced by the industry. At the same time, the annual Awards Ceremony has become one of the most prestigious executive networking events in the local industry, attracting more than 150 leaders from China’s THE TOP players every year.
