The tour will be led by Duane Gapinski,
who was an ENR newsmaker when he was in charge of the dewatering of New Orleans
for the Corps of Engineers. He is now eastern region deputy director for federal
programs at HDR. He will lead you on a tour through New Orleans, which will also
explain how the city's problems have led to a work force shortage and how the
crisis is being mitigated. |

of CURT's workforce white paper and the white paper, "Ideas for Action", that
came out of the Mcgraw-Hill Construction and ENR work force think tank held last
fall.

including the Gulf Coast. This panel will set the stage for exploring specific
solutions to the crisis.
