The 2008 Green Building & Energy Efficiency Int’l Conference, one of the most influential and high-end conferences in green building and energy conservation in China and co-hosted by McGraw-Hill Construction and Shanghai Green Building Council, concluded with a huge success in Shanghai World Financial Center, the brand-new landmark in Shanghai, China on September 19, 2008.
Under the support of many prominent local as well as international industry organizations, the conference attracted over 460 professionals involved in green building and energy conservation in China and around the world.
A full-star roaster of speakers and panelists joined the conference. Mr. Huang Jianzhi, Vice Director of Shanghai World Expo Bureau, Rebecca Flora, Chair of the Board, U.S. Green Building Council, and Shane Tedjarati, President & CEO of Honeywell China & India keynoted at the conference key-noted at the conference. Harvey M. Bernstein, Vice President of Industry Analytics, Alliances & Strategic Initiatives of McGraw-Hill Construction presented the results of a groundbreaking new study on Global Green Building Trends which was co-sponsored by the company and World Green Building Council (WorldGBC).
