Tianjin – A Market You Can Not Ignore!

• China’s State Council is ready to build Tianjin into an international port, the economic center in the North, and an eco-city within 15 years. If Shenzhen was the hottest construction market in China in the 1980s and the Pudong District of Shanghai was the one in the 1990s, then no doubt Tianjin is becoming the rising star of the next decade.
• Backed by financial and policy support from both the national and local governments, Tianjin is carrying out a strategy that city officials call “One Shoulder Pole with Two Loads”. This strategy involves retrofitting/renovating the old city center and building the Binhai new district – two areas connected by the Haihe River;

It has just completed an overall review of the planning of 119 large-scale projects.
