Creating, Editing and Deleting Tracking Folders

Creating a folder Before you can manage a tracking folder, you first must have a tracking folder. Across the top of the Folders section are three buttons you will use to create, edit and delete tracking folders. The following is for both project tracking folder and company tracking folders.
To create a tracking folder:
- Click the Add button. The Add Folder pop-up window displays.
- By default, you will be creating a project folder. If you need to create a company
folder, click the radio button adjacent to Company folder.
- Type the name of the folder in the New folder name: text field.
- Click the Save button. The tracking folder has been created.

Editing a tracking folder
To rename a tracking folder:
- Click the Edit button. The Rename Folder pop-up window displays. By default, you will be renaming a project folder. If you need to rename a company folder, click the radio button adjacent to Company folder.
- Select the name of the folder you want to rename from the Select the folder want to be renamed: picklist.
- Type the new name for the folder in the Rename folder to: text field.
- Click the Edit button. The folder has been renamed.
Deleting a tracking folder
To delete a tracking folder:
- Click the Delete button. The Delete Folder pop-up window displays. By default, you will be deleting a project folder. If you need to delete a company folder, click the radio button adjacent to Company folder.
- Select the name of the folder you want to delete from the Select the folder want to be deleted: picklist.
- Click the Delete button. The folder has been deleted.
By deleting a tracking folder, anything you had tracked in that folder is no longer tracked. That does not mean that whatever you tracked is deleted from the Network. No user or administrator has the ability to delete a project or company from the Network.
