The editing options are different based on whether or not the contact is verified in the global directory.
1. Select the contact you wish to edit.
2. Click the Edit button
The Edit Existing Contact Information page appears
If the contact IS NOT VERIFIED in the Global Directory, you may edit ALL fields in your private directory entry, EXCEPT the Company name; however, if the contact IS VERIFIED in the Global Directory you may not edit information in the Global Directory, but you may add or edit certain information for the entry in your private directory.
The page contains several areas that may be edited.
My Current Information
You may edit or add addresses, phone numbers and email for the contact, and choose which to use as the active entry for notification purposes.
Job Duties and Responsibilties
These fields are read-only for verifed contacts. For unverified contacts, you may check any of the boxes that apply to the contact. Choices are:
- Administrator
- Bidding (I submit bids)
- Estimating (I receive bids)
- Executive
- Finance/Prequalification
Contact Notes
The Contact Notes area is a custom field that appears only in your private directory entry.
To edit the Contact Notes:
1. Click the Edit button. The Contact Profile Notes page appears.
This section is associated with your private directory only. This is a free-form custom field that you may use for any notes you wish to include about this contact.
2. Type in your notes.

Click the Save button.
Company Information
For a verifed contact, you may only change the Prequalified field.
Construction Codes
Construction Codes contain the information specified in the global directory. However, you may edit any of this information for your private directory instance. Since this is for your private directory, you determine which construction codes you'd like associated with this contact.To edit the contact's construction codes:
1. Click the Edit button.
The Edit CSI Construction Codes page appears.

2. To search for codes, enter part of the description or code in the Search box.
3. Select the desired code(s).
4. Click the > button to add codes and/or
click the < button to remove codes
5. Click the Finish button.
Work Service Areas
Work Service Areas contain the information specified in the global directory. However, you may edit any of this information for your private directory instance. To edit the contact's Work Service Areas:
1. Click the Edit button.
2. To search for areas, enter part of the name in the Search box.
3. Select the desired area(s).
4. Click the > button to add and/or
click the < button to remove areas
5. Click the Finish button.
Contact Preferences
Choose whether the Contact will receive notifications via...
When are done with all your edits,
click the OK button at the bottom of the page. Clicking Cancel will undo any edits you made in any of the above areas.
