Using Groups

A good way to keep your contacts organized is by using Groups. You may place any contacts you wish into a group and these conatcts will display whenever you select the group.

To Create a Group

1. Right-click the My Groups link.
2. Select Add New Group from the right-click menu.

To Rename a Group

1. Right-click the group's link.
2. Select Rename Group from the right-click menu.
3. Type the desired name.

Your group has been renamed.

To Add Contacts to a Group

1. Search for and select the contact(s) you wish to add.
2. Drag and drop them onto the group's link.

To Remove a Contact from a Group

1. Select the contact that you wish to remove.
2. Right-click the contact.
3. Select Remove Contact(s)
4. Click the OK button.

The contact has been removed from the group.

Note: Even though the contact was removed from the group, it was not removed from your private directory. (To do this you would need to remove it from the My Contacts view.

To Delete a Group

1. Right-click the group you wish to delete
2. Select Remove Group.
3. Click the OK button

The group has been permanently removed.

Note: Even thought the group was removed, the contacts within the group were not removed from your private directory.
