The Private Directory displays your contacts. Since the number of contacts may be very large, there are several ways to navigate, search, and group your contacts.
Select the Group By dropdown arrow to
choose how to group the way your contacts are displayed. Your choices are by City, Construction Codes, First Name, Last Name, Company, or State/Province.
Rolodex Tabs
The rolodex tabs to the left of your results window filters the results using whatever you have chosen in the Group By dropdown. For example, if you choose Company in the Group By dropdown, and then select the G rolodex tab, the list will drill down to only display companies that begin with the letter G.
Note: The * tab shows all contacts.
When you Group by Construction Codes the rolodex tabs change from letter to numbers.
and the results are based solely on the Code -- e.g., if a contact has more than one code that begins with the rolodex tab criterion, that contact will appear more than once.
Sort by Columns
Within your result set, you may sort by any column by clicking on it.
Search functionality looks in all contact fields for the search term that you enter.
The results return all matches in any contact data fields.
