Why can’t I save my search results in my workspace?

In order to save search results to your workspace, you need to be signed in. To sign in, please go to the homepage at http://products.construction.com and enter your user name and password.
If you need a user name and password, please register here.

 

How can I get my company listed on this site?

Why can’t I view CAD images on the site?

In order to view CAD details, you need to be signed in. To sign in, please go to the homepage at http://products.construction.com and enter your user name and password. If you need a user name and password, please register here. If you still can’t view the details, please confirm that you have installed a DWF viewer. Click here to download this viewer.

 

How do I change my password?

In order to change your password, you need to sign in, then go to the “my account” tab on the home page. Click on the tab and scroll down. You will see a change password section towards the bottom of the page.

 

How do I change my contact & personal information?

In order to change your contact and personal information, you need to sign in, then go to the “my account” tab on the home page. Edit your personal information in the form provided.

 

Can I make McGraw-Hill construction my homepage?

Go to our homepage at http://products.construction.com. Go to your browser’s toolbar, click on “Internet Options”. On the “General” tab, you will see a section called “Home Page”. Click on the “Use Current” button, then on “Apply” and “Ok”.

 

How do I install the McGraw-Hill Construction Network Search Toolbar?

This feature will be available in the upcoming version of the Network. Please email us at sweets_techsupport@mcgraw-hill.com, so we can alert you when this feature will be offered.

 

How can I restrict my search to US sites?

While there is currently no way to restrict searched to US content only, practically all our manufacturers have a US presence.

 

How can I restrict my search to Canadian sites?

In order to restrict your searches to Canadian sites, please go to the homepage at http://products.construction.com. On the “product center” menu, click on “Canadian”. This will put a Canadian lens on your searched content.

 

Can I email my search results to my friend?

Yes, you can email individual results to another party. Roll your mouse cursor over the search result you wish to email. A window will pop up which at the bottom will offer you the option to “Email”. Click on the link, and another window will pop up, which will prompt you to enter your friend’s email address. Then press “email”.

 

Can I email my MasterFormat results to my friend?

Yes, you can email your browse results to another party. Check the results you wish to email using the check boxes on the right hand side, then select the “email” option. A window will pop up, which will prompt you to enter your friend’s email address. Then press “email”.

 

Can I contact the manufacturer?

Yes, you can contact all the manufacturers listed with the Sweets Network. On the results page for both “search” and “browse”, click on the manufacturer’s link. This will take you to the manufacturer’s area, which has contact details on the top left.

 

What kind of user normally visits the site?

This site is aimed at design professionals working in the construction industry.

 

Where can I find the catalog of a particular company?

In the “search” box, type in the name of the company. Once the search results are displayed, click on the manufacturer’s name. This will take you to the manufacturer’s area. Click on the “catalog” option in the top navigation, which will take you to the manufacturer’s catalog in .pdf format.

 

What does this CSV feature mean and how does it help me?

The CSV feature is available when your “browse” results are displayed. Selecting the “export to CSV” option will allow you to display your browse results in Microsoft Excel. In order to export your data to Excel, check your selected results, then click on the “export to CSV” option.
