Breadcrumbs are a navigation technique used in web sites. The purpose is to give users a way to keep track of their location and provide a trail to follow back to the starting/entry point.

Each time you click on a content type or related category navigator, the results returned will be a subset of the previous results. Only companies or products that satisfy all of the criteria in the breadcrumb will return results. This helps you drilldown to their exact requirement.
Example: Searching on the term luminescent returns 20 results as shown above. Then selecting CAD/BIM & 3D narrows down the result set to one company. This company is the only one that satisfies the search term and contains both content types CAD/BIM & 3D.
