Residing out of Pittsburgh, PA, Ronna and her team of 23 reporters cover: Pennsylvania (minus the Philadelphia region), West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

The Central Atlantic team contains 1 of only 2 reporters in the country, responsible for the Pipeline news for our customers. Her experienced reporters handle Special Source agreements for Lowe’s and AutoZone. Many of Ronna’s team are involved with local construction industry groups such as CSI and the ABC.

Ronna has 15 years of experience with McGraw-Hill Construction. She began her career has a reporter covering the local county and government news; attending bid openings, and gathering construction data in a specific geographic location. Ronna then moved up the reporting ranks and covered the general contractors and construction managers in a larger region procuring bid news and subbidding news. She then was promoted to build relationships, provide presentations, and be involved with larger architects and owners and be a total resource to the industry.

Through her reporting years, Ronna was named Employee of the Year twice for performance. Ronna was then promoted to be the Northeast Editorial Manager and has been involved in the industry for many years. Her new region, the Central Atlantic, is just now in existence since March 2010. She is a current Advisor to the Pittsburgh Chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute and has served as President in 2007 and 2008. She serves on the Institute’s Academic Affairs Committee and has attended many region and national conferences.

In June 2010, Ronna received the Kenneth T. Nagie Memorial Award. This award is presented to a CSI member in good standing with 5 or more continuous years of service to the Institute, who has through his or her activities, exemplified the loyalty, dedication and enthusiasm as a mentor to promote the objectives of the Institute, which Kenneth T. Nagie exhibited throughout his career in the construction industry. The individual must be an acclaimed supporter of the goals of the Institute and an active participant in the Chapter.
