The Roaring Fork Transportation Authority (RFTA) is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of a pedestrian underpass under State Highway (SH) 82 and BRT stations at the Aspen Airport Business Center (“AABC”) in Aspen, Colorado.  The work will consist of the following:      

The project is being funded, in part, with grant funds from the Federal Transit Administration (“FTA”) and the Colorado Department of Transportation (“CDOT”).  As such, all work shall comply with FTA, CDOT and Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) requirements.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held Tuesday, February 12, 10:00 AM via WebEx.  Bidders must register by submitting a Vendor Registration Form, available at http://www.rfta.com/rfps.html to obtain connection details.

Sealed Bids will be due by no later than 2:00 PM (MT) on February 27, 2013.  Bids should be submitted via upload to https://rfta.sharefile.com/r/r7141d20a4414489b in PDF format.  Please use “YOUR COMPANY NAME Response to IFB #13-008” as the title of the uploaded document to clearly indicate the contents.  To be considered, bids must be uploaded on or before the date and time specified.  Any bid received after the time to which reference is made will be rejected.  A Public Bid Opening will be held at 2:30 PM (MT).
