Construction Professionals Get the Latest News On-the-Go with Engineering News-Record's New Mobile News App
July 11, 2012 - New York, NY

Engineering News-Record, part of McGraw-Hill Construction and the construction industry's leading provider of news, commentary and insights, today announced the launch of the new ENR Mobile News app, available at the iTunes App Store and Google Play. The new app provides users with on-the-go news and furthers ENR's digital leadership within the industry.

"We are very excited about this new mobile app that provides ENR users with on-the-go information and insights to help them stay ahead of what's happening.  Contractors, project owners, engineers, architects, government regulators and industry suppliers will find top news, both regional and national, directly within the app. ENR Mobile News is another way we are bringing our users the news they need in the format that works best for them," said Janice Tuchman, Editor-in-Chief, ENR.

The ENR Mobile News app, sponsored by CMiC, the leader in creating advanced, technologically open enterprise-wide software solutions for the construction and capital project management industry, provides award-winning news, photos and videos that help construction industry professionals excel in their roles and make informed decisions about their businesses and business strategy. Users will also be able to connect to Twitter directly from the app, and will be able to participate in polls.

Engineering News-Record Launches ENR Mobile News App

"ENR Mobile News provides convenience for our readers, while bringing them all the editorial excellence and insight that are ENR's trademark," said Paul Bonington, vice president and publisher, ENR. "It also expands the reach for our advertisers with new opportunities to market their products and services to the ENR audience of construction professionals.  We're delighted to welcome CMiC as our exclusive launch sponsor."

ENR Mobile News is the latest in ENR's mission to inform its audience, employ technology and provide leadership for the construction industry. Last year, ENR launched seven new regional editions in print and online to answer audience requests for more local information, and established the Construction Industry Confidence Index to provide quarterly benchmarks on the state of the industry. ENR's mobile alerts were among the first in the industry among B-to-B media. ENR has recently won several industry awards, notably two Jesse H. Neal Awards for excellence in journalism, including Best Website and Best Technical Content.
