Kim Kennedy

Director of Forecasting

Kim Kennedy is the Director of Forecasting for Dodge Data & Analytics. She has been a member of Dodge Data & Analytics for 21 years and has more than 30 years of professional experience in construction economics, macroeconomics, consumer, and labor economics.

As Director of Forecasting, Ms. Kennedy supervises a staff of three economists and manages Dodge products derived from the forecast. In addition to her managerial responsibilities, Ms. Kennedy co-authors the annual construction Outlook report—a seminal reference for the industry— and is a major contributor to Dodge’s flagship publication, the quarterly Construction Market Forecasting Service. She regularly works with Dodge clients to explain the company’s forecast methodology and track record and is a frequent spokesperson for the Dodge construction outlook, presenting information about the latest trends and forecasts to clients, industry groups, associations, and the press.

Prior to joining Dodge, Ms. Kennedy was with Cahners Publishing Company (now ConstructConnect), where she began as a Senior Economist and eventually became Co-Director of Cahners Economics. Earlier in her career, she was a Labor Market Economist with the Massachusetts Governor's Office of Economic Affairs.

She obtained an MA in Economics at Northeastern University in Boston, where she was also a teaching fellow while earning her degree.
