I just passed my one-year anniversary on June 20th!
My team and I support our customers and sales teams during the entire customer life cycle. This includes ensuring that our internal systems, processes and reporting are aligned to make Dodge easier to do business with.
The people here at Dodge have to be the best part of my job. From my first day here, everyone was welcoming and eager to help me learn about Dodge, our customers and our systems/processes.
In the fall of 2016, I was part of a larger team that went through a relaunch of our CRM tool. The goal of that project was to make it easier for our systems and employees to interact with CRM. Cleaning up the screens, required fields and other parts of the process have allowed us to more quickly understand the details of our customers and how to best service them.
There is an endless list of projects that I hope to get to during my second year! At the top of the list is to help streamline and optimize our customer order/onboarding process. The first few weeks of a customer’s time with Dodge are critical to success. The easier we can make it to process orders, get the customer access to the product and then get them up and running, the quicker customers will start to unlock the power of Dodge products and data.
Being relatively new to the company, I am continually amazed at the volume and detail of the data that Dodge provides to its customers. This unparalleled collection of information allows our customers to better understand their markets, uncover key relationships, size growth opportunities, and successfully pursue those opportunities.
Dodge is perfectly positioned to extend the reach of our data by partnering with other companies in the architecture, engineering and construction industry to bring stronger, more integrated offerings to our customers. Partnerships with companies like Autodesk, Stack and Dexter + Chaney have already started Dodge down this path.
When I’m not at Dodge, I love spending time with my family (wife, son and dog!). I also enjoy running, cooking (this is why I have to love running) and playing golf (badly).
I love coaching. Over the last 15 years, I have coached numerous youth sports teams, primarily baseball. I think the skills I learned and honed while coaching have helped me at work too. It’s extremely rewarding to help someone identify an area for improvement, work through the problems and then see them succeed.
