Advanced Project Searches
This guide outlines the process of creating, saving, and managing Advanced Project Searches, including how to set up email notifications for new results.
Create a New Search
1. Navigate to the ‘Saved Searches’ tab.
2. Click ‘Create’ located in the ‘Advanced Project Searches’ box.
3. Select a region to search.
4. Optionally, narrow the search by selecting specific ‘Target Markets’ and/or ‘Disciplines’.
Disciplines: This filter covers 64 professional service disciplines across various categories, including:
- Architecture
- Civil
- Construction Management
- Environmental
- Planning
- Security
- Transportation
- Water Resources
Target Markets: Use this filter to search for work in 12 specific markets, such as:
- Public Safety Building
- Environmental
- General Building
- Hospitals
- Land
- Parks
- Redevelopment
- School Districts
- Streets/Highways
- Transportation
- Universities and Colleges
- Water
5. Click ‘Search’ at the bottom of the screen.
Save a Search
After the search results are reviewed, the search must be saved to receive future updates.
- Scroll to the bottom of the results page and select the option to ‘Save’ the search.
- Saving your search ensures you’ll receive future updates.
- The system will automatically check for new projects that meet your criteria, even if no results were found on the current day.
Manage a Saved Search
Once saved, the new search will appear in the ‘Advanced Project Searches’ list.
- Enable Email Attachments: To receive an email with an attachment of new projects, click the ‘green circle’ next to the search name.
- Schedule Emails: Click the ‘pencil icon’ to schedule the days when a daily email with the attachment should be received.
- Disable Email Attachments: To turn off the email feature, click the ‘red circle’ next to the search name.
