Dodge Lead NEWS items are project updates which have been identified as of value to you; either because you marked them as a favorite (or marked a related company as a favorite) or because they are projects which have been updated today and have been returned by your saved searches.
News can be viewed in any any of the following places within Dodge:
1. Daily News email
2. Project Report
3. Company Report
4. Search Projects > News View
5. Search Plans|Spec Keyword > News View
6. “News” page
News page definitions:
A. As a brand new user to Dodge, your first view of the News will be for “all projects in your profile” (you should note that nothing has been selected in the left menu)
- You can modify this view (and those mentioned below) via the News Filter – Field Tracking selector under “My Tools”
B. If you have a saved project search – your first view in the “News” page will be the news for that search (you will see the search highlighted in the left menu)
C. If you have project and/or company “Favorites” – your first view in the “News” page will be the news for your favorites
D. If you were upgraded from another Dodge product – one of the above scenarios will apply, depending on what was migrated from your previous platform
NOTE: Once either scenario B or C exist, you will no-longer see the news for all projects in your subscription in one view (scenario A)
