Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting bids for three (3) enclosed boat storage space of approximately 1,260 total square feet located within close proximity to Choke Canyon Reservoir and Lake Corpus Christi, to allow for quick water emergency response, in Live Oak County, Texas in accordance with the attached specifications. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is soliciting bids for three (3) enclosed boat storage space of approximately 1,260 total square feet located within close proximity to Choke Canyon Reservoir and Lake Corpus Christi, to allow for quick water emergency response, in Live Oak County, Texas in accordance with the following specifications. 1.1. Boat storage spaces shall meet or exceed the following: 1.1.1 Three (3) enclosed storage spaces of approximately 420 square feet each. 1.1.1.1 Minimum height of twelve (12) feet. 1.1.1.2 Minimum width of twelve (12) feet. 1.1.1.3 Minimum depth of thirty-five (35) feet. 1.1.2 Overhead roll-up style bay doors. 1.1.2.1 Minimum height of twelve (12) feet 1.1.2.2 Minimum width of ten (10) feet. 1.1.2.3 Bay entrances shall be adjacent to one another. 1.1.2.4 Bay doors shall be functional (able to open) during power outages. 1.1.3 Flooring capable of supporting heavy vehicles, boats, trailers and equipment. 1.1.4 Each unit shall include a minimum of two (2) shelving units approximately six (6) feet high. Each shelf should be approximately two (2) feet deep by four (4) feet wide. 1.1.5 Two (2) standard 110-volt power outlets per storage space. 1.1.6 Indoor lighting that uniformly illuminates storage spaces. 1.1.7 Wiring with adequate amperage capable of simultaneously powering overhead lights and power outlets running small hand tools, shop fan, and charging boat batteries. 1.2 Facility shall include the following: 1.2.1 Adequate drive and apron for access to storage space during all-weather conditions. 1.2.2 Adequate drive and apron for ingress, egress and turn-around of vehicles towing vessels on trailers. Dimensions of space needed is approximately sixty (60) feet wide by seventyfive (75) feet long. 1.2.3 Perimeter fence with secure, gated entrance. 1.2.4 Dusk to dawn outside security lighting. REQUISITION NO: 802-20-44601 Page 3 of 11 1.2.5 Accessibility 24 hours, 7 days a week. 1.2.6 Access to a freshwater hose bib with adequate pressure for washing down vessels and other related equipment within close proximity to storage units. 1.3 Lessor shall pay all electric and water utility bills.
